Marine debris poses a grave threat to ocean health and human well-being, making it a critical global issue. Taiwan has taken a leading role in tackling marine waste by mobilizing a diverse range of stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and the private sector. By working together, Taiwan has shown its diplomatic prowess on the global stage and shared its successes at events like the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.
