Climate impacts get increasingly complex, with risks shaped by interconnected hazards, vulnerabilities, and governance gaps that exceed the scope of past adaptation planning. This talk applies systems thinking and network analysis to identify critical nodes and leverage points through mixed analytical methods, demonstrating how limited
resources can yield systemic benefits. It further explores how scientific insights can be translated into decision-support tools, charting a pathway for climate adaptation that balances scientific rigor with policy feasibility.
