Early Career Researchers in Sustainability Science

This webinar has initiated amid the outbreak of COVID19 in May 2021. The purpose of this webinar is to provide early-career researchers from different disciplines a free and open platform to share research findings and to discuss with academic peers and other audiences.

In 2021, we had organised 18 virtual talks with speakers from 5 countries. These has successfully engaged thousands of participants from academic, governments, NGOs, and industrials across various professional domains.

In 2022, we are working toward engaging more ECRs from outside Taiwan for the conversation with Taiwan ECRs and other researchers. This webinar is currently open for nominations for ECR speakers from the Future Earth network.

In 2023, 20 online webinars were organized with 4 talks of hubs colleborations. Five topics were included: fishery and marine conservation, circular economy, actions on the ocean, urban and environment, and agriculture and climate change.

In 2024, 9 online webinars were given by the new ECR network members.
